What is railway station meet & greet?

A private agent meets you on the platform as you step off the train, a porter takes your luggage and your agent walks you to your car, avoiding the crowds and the taxi queue. Elysium Exclusive offers it every day at Roma Termini, Roma Tiburtina and Milano Centrale, and on request at every major Italian station, with a written quote within 2 hours.

Italy's main stations

A guide to each one: where we meet you, and how you leave.

  • Rome

    Roma Termini

Italy's largest station, handled for you. Your agent waits at your coach door, a porter takes your bags and your chauffeur is at the closest exit.

  • Milan

    Milano Centrale

One of Europe's grandest stations, and one of Italy's busiest. Your agent waits at your coach, a porter takes your bags and your chauffeur is ready at the exit.

  • Florence

    Firenze Santa Maria Novella

Santa Maria Novella sits on the edge of the historic centre. Your agent waits at your coach, a porter takes your bags and your car, or a short walk, brings you to your hotel.

  • Naples

    Napoli Centrale

Napoli Centrale is where the high-speed trains from Rome arrive, and a busy place to arrive. Your agent waits at your coach and takes you to your car, or to the ferry for Capri.

  • Venice

    Venezia Santa Lucia

In Venice the station opens onto the water, and there are no cars. Your agent waits at your coach, a porter takes your bags and your water taxi is waiting at the landing.

Rome and Milan, every day

Each station has its own walk from the train to the street. We know them all.

  1. Roma Termini

Rome's main station, with more than thirty platforms and one of the busiest concourses in Europe. Your agent waits at your coach, takes your luggage and walks you past the crowds to your car.

  2. Roma Tiburtina

Rome's second high-speed hub, east of the centre. Quieter than Termini and easier for cars, it is a good choice for arrivals from the north.

  3. Milano Centrale

A monumental station with a long walk from the platforms, through the gallery and down to the street. We meet you at the head of your platform and take the luggage the whole way.

Platform

From your coach to your car

The same promise as at the airport: one agent, the whole way.

  1. At your coach door

Your agent waits on the platform at the door of your coach, with your name.

  2. Luggage on the trolley

A porter takes your bags from the train, so your hands stay free.

  3. Through the concourse

Roma Termini and Milano Centrale are among Italy's busiest stations. You walk through them with someone who knows the way.

  4. Past the ticket gates

Platform gates check tickets at the big stations. Your agent is already on the right side.

  5. Car at the exit

Your chauffeur waits at the closest exit for your hotel.

Every major station, on request

The same service in Florence, Venice, Bologna, Naples and beyond.

  1. Firenze Santa Maria Novella

In the heart of Florence, steps from the historic centre, where cars cannot always reach the door. We plan the closest pick-up point in advance.

  2. Venezia Santa Lucia

The station opens onto the Grand Canal: there are no cars beyond it. Your agent and porter take you to your water taxi.

  3. Bologna Centrale

High-speed trains stop on platforms deep underground, a long way from the street. Your agent meets you below and brings you up.

  4. Napoli Centrale

A busy gateway to the Amalfi Coast and Capri. We meet you on the platform and arrange the car or the transfer to the port.

Stations: your questions

Anything else, our team answers on WhatsApp.

Where will my agent meet me at the station?

On the platform, at the door of your coach whenever access allows, otherwise at the head of the platform. You receive the exact meeting point and your agent's name the day before.

What if my train is late?

We track your train in real time and your agent adjusts to its actual arrival. You are never left waiting alone on the platform.

Can you help with heavy luggage?

Yes. A porter takes your luggage from the coach to your car, including the long walks at Milano Centrale and Bologna Centrale.

Can you assist on departure too?

Yes. We meet you at the kerb, take your luggage, guide you to the right platform and see you settled on board.

Can I combine a station and an airport?

Of course. Many guests land at Fiumicino or Malpensa and continue by train. One request covers the whole journey, with one point of contact.

Arriving by air?

The same agents meet you at the airports of Rome and Milan.

  • FCO

    Rome Fiumicino

At Terminal 1 or Terminal 3, your agent meets you as close to the aircraft as the airport allows, takes you through passport control and baggage claim, and walks you to your car. Central Rome is under an hour away.

  • MXP

    Milan Malpensa

Milan's intercontinental gateway is 50 km from the city. Your agent meets you at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, guides you through the formalities and hands you to your chauffeur, for Milan or the lakes.
